Rhema Linder is a PhD candidate in the Interface Ecology Lab at Texas A&M University. Rhema's research interests focus on understanding and promoting creativity and exploration in social media and design. His work includes visualization, analytics, big data, and ethnography. He is currently applying for industry research positions and academic postdoc jobs.

Rhema graduated from LeTourneau University with a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics in 2009. He was homeschooled through high school and later and later taught supplemental classes to other students in the College Station area.

In 2014, Rhema interned at Adobe Research's Imagination Lab. He worked Eunyee Koh on big data and visualization projects including Quarry. In the summers of 2015 and 2016, he worked with working with Jaime Teevan, Shamsi Iqbal, and others at Microsoft Research working on crowdsourcing for writing research.

Currently, he helps lead research in analyzing the use of IdeaMâché, a cloud-based platform for collecting, organizing, and sharing text, pictures, and links gathered from the Web. In 2014, Rhema interned at Adobe Research's Imagination Lab. He worked Eunyee Koh on big data projects inlcuding Quarry. In 2015, Rhema will be working with Jaime Teevan and others at Microsoft Research.
